Friday Fun is for anyone who is currently in high school and wants to enjoy some good times together, and it’s free! There’ll be outdoor games, music, a sausage sizzle and a talk. If the weather is good, a quick dip is popular so bring your swimmers if you’re keen.

Carols @ Curl Curl is back!

This year, capacity is limited to 200 people as it is being run where we hold our church services at North Curl Curl Community Centre. The Family Carnival with all the fun things for the kids like jumping castles, face painting, Christmas craft, photo booth, etc, will kick off at 4:30 pm and then we will gather together at 7 pm for the traditional Christmas Carols.

There will be a sausage sizzle for gold coin donations, all of which goes to charity; sorry we can’t take credit/debit cards at this event.

So bring along your blankets/chairs and your favourite Christmas attire if you so wish.

To celebrate the end of Term 3, we’re doing something special. Angus will be running a Free Friday Fun event for anyone who wants to come along. We feel privileged that not only is John Paterson speaking at the Enhance Conference this year but is also our guest speaker on Sunday 6 August. John’s faithful preaching is an inspiration. He is highly regarded and has been a wonderful friend to our Church, along with the incredible ministry he has in the Philippines and Tamworth.

Come along and hear him unpack ‘The Rich Ruler’ (Luke 18: 18-34) as we continue in the Gospel of Luke series ‘It’s Time’.

What is this year’s Enhance Conference about?

Some ideas seem to have a very limited impact on anything, whilst other ideas can transform lives, families and nations. This year, we will be looking at an idea that is the definition of transformational. Over the course of an afternoon and evening, we will be unpacking three aspects of the Bible’s teaching on justification and how, once understood and embraced, it has changed lives, churches and countries. The talks will demonstrate how important this truth is for the foundation of any genuine growth in Christian maturity.

John Paterson is the guest speaker this year and is one of the most compelling, challenging and passionate preachers in Australia today. He has a great love for God’s Word and bringing it to bear fruit in the lives of Christians.

We are thankful to our kind and gracious God for His sustaining grace to us over the past ten years as His Church. All anniversaries are meaningful but number 10 seems special in ways that are difficult to articulate. We would love to celebrate Jesus’ love and grace to his Church with everyone that has been with us on this incredible journey. We would love you all to join us this Sunday 2 April at 9:30 am for our 10th Anniversary Service. To God be the glory for great things He has done!
